Apparently Reilly was somewhat sick during this concert. The speaker's introduction in English:
"The fellow in his checkered pants and white shirt is Vini Reilly. Vini isn't quite well... I mean Vini's health isn't top notch but today he said he's feeling quite okay. The drums are banged by half of Africa, Bruce Mitchell. The Durutti Column".
Wonder what's with the "half of Africa" part! Anyways, I'm amazed to see that they've actually performed here in Finland.
i think "half of Africa" is a compliment to Bruce Mitchell meaning it sounds like his drumming IS half of Africa as he makes such an amazing sound. as we know drums are a big part of African culture!
