This piece was performed for the first time at a formal ball in December 2006 and again in early 2007 for the BBC and ITV ('Britain's Got Talent').

This piece was performed (as you see it) for the fourth time in Wales as part of a cabaret (April 2007) in front of an audience in excess of 2000.

  • The song is "the ecstacy of gold" from the movie 'the good, the bad and the ugly'.

  • Yes, the music is "The Ecstacy of Gold" from the movie "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly." A wonderful piece of music, even if it is 40 years old! Thank you everyone for your comments; glad you enjoyed watching. Genevieve

  • I am a huge Felix Mitchell fan, but it's kind of rude to post a comment here saying, essentially, "Watch Felix instead." This woman is not of Felix's caliber, but she's still quite good and has obviously worked hard to get to this level. I found her performance enjoyable and artistic. She did a great job.

  • It would only cease to be pole dancing if it were done without a pole.

  • @ariana1984 I think you mean Felix Cane.

  • Shes amazing! Shes my teacher and I'm VERY proud to say so!!!!! :)

  • Im not saying that the perfomer on video is any less of a performer for not being from a typical dance background, but her lack of point is not a reflection on british pole dancers as a whole :)

  • As for the british having a more sporty focus on pole and not being in the habit of pointing their feet is wholly dependant on the pole dancers background. Most from a dance background ballet/contemporary would definately 100% point their feet as they understand the idea of finishing and presentation - posture pointing feet etc. :)

  • The music and the pole dance performance is fab. The felix comparison is unfair as the dancers are from different backgrounds being that felix is probably from a contortionist background....although that is a guess but being that she is so flexible it seems likely :)

  • thats so unbelievably rude. And if your referring to Felix Cane, the worlds greatest pole dancer (by competition standards) then obviously she is better, but this is artistic. How could you shame someone else for not being the best pole dancer? clearly she is successful, and is a beautiful dancer.

Thats like telling a swimmer to go watch Micheal Phelps because he isn't good enough.

  • Felix Cane (I think is whom you're referring to) is an amazing dancer, but she is the cream of the crop. You shouldn't diminish the hard work this woman has put into a very artistic dance.

  • very good, I'm learning pole dance currently, I know it's not easy to dance like this.

  • good

  • simply amazing!!! gave me goosebumps at one time. well done. <3
