@Shriffican Keep drumming, you'll eventually grow to love that overtone, and you'll probably start to hate "dead" sounding drums. By dead, I mean fat, wet and deep, not too many seasoned drummers prefer that sound. Of course, there is no rules, and if you like that sound go for it, but believe me, keep an open mind. Besides those same overtones aid projection in live situations.

@Ereto16 I like how you attempt to redeem yourself here...but nobody is buying it. Everyone knows you're cocky and arrogant. Don't act like you're so great by giving him advice and suggestions, especially after the way you insulted him. He's certainly not a bad drummer and I think he's doing just fine without your "help".
