Journalist and author Naomi Klein spoke in New York last night and addressed the crisis in Haiti: We have to be absolutely clear that this tragedy—which is part natural, part unnatural—must, under no circumstances, be used to, one, further indebt Haiti and, two, to push through unpopular corporatist policies in the interest of our corporations. This is not conspiracy theory. They have done it again and again.

  • @earthbloodsong so white people = capitalist? If I'm white, I'm a capitalist? Maybe you should invest in a dictionary.

  • @Sivels Yes, there are capitalists in Haiti. They're called "white people".

  • @earthbloodsong no social programs because there are no capitalists to rob.

  • @Sivels No, Haiti is a capitalist utopia. Capitalist to the nth degree. There are no social programs to speak of there.

  • @slizz27 No, never been there. Are you telling me they are not living in extreme misery?

  • @Sivels Dude, stop it with the statistics already.Have you ever been in Haiti? If you did know most statistics are a bunch of crap.Facts are the way to go and living the life.

  • @slizz27 Most statistics show that they suffer just about the same whether you're tall or short, ugly or pretty, young or old. Equality ftw!

  • @Sivels Everyone in haiti is not equal. stop watching to much TV

  • @Sivels When the democratically elected leaders of the western world sell their debt in fiat money (monopoly on currency) what they are actually selling is a claim that children and the unborn will work to pay off that debt. An involuntary contract, if that is not a form of slavery please explain what it is.

  • @Redcarpet01 Another problem with democracy is that present generations tend to enslave future generations by living beyond their means and passing the bill to the children. THat IS slavery and tyrannical! Selling children's future to foreign rulers in China and Latin America. That is the direct result of the fiat money system. If you don't know what that is, I suggest you look it up. Statism is evil. What you advocate is not achievable without a state, am I wrong?
