  • @nicollettePerfect Yes they are but not all of them. It`s a kind of special training they need. If they "get air under their wings" they fly and fly and flay away...

    are budgies still at risk of flying away? if they are a few years old and are becoming tame now?

  • @nicollettePerfect He's not that great in real life. what he usually does is he'll fly all day then comes back before dark. I just got lucky with the camera....and he hates all my other birds.

    How did I get him to trust me: handfed him, raised him as a single bird for a bit.

    can budgies do the same: YES! Budgies in my opinion, are better than lovebirds when it comes to free flying. They are the ones who actually WANTS to come back. Lovebirds are a bit adventurous.
