@tediju but its a part of the franchise and the point to learn something new about the whole stargate franchise is enough to support this show and also most of the people saying sgu sucks at beginning at season 1 change their mind at second half of season 2 !!!!

@HelioJorgeRodrigues I agree with you. The original 1994 movie, SG1 and SGA, all were science fiction combined with appropriate humor. Plus, the fans always liked the way it was going. It was about discovery and english speaking aliens. SGU turned out to be more of a drama than a science fiction, I have followed the franchise right since the original movie. However SGU was a disappointment, the whole idea of what stargate was ruined. Destiny is more in focus in SGU than Stargate itself.
