I don't think it's just about making the sale. It's about being personable and taking a joke and showing that they're not just robots reading a script. I'm sure after spending every day having people yell at them or hang up on them, calls like this make their day. It gives them an awesome story to tell their co-workers, just as much as it gives us an awesome youtube video. I think this is the perfect example of win on both sides of the call.
