Here's a question for you? If he is Therapy trained, can you take him into the cities that have BSL or no? Do they take into consideration that he's a therapy dog?

In addition to serving local children, one of my goals is to fight local BSL in a passive resistance sort of way. As Grant becomes more and more known as a representative of a juvenile literacy program, the idea of BSL in the average person's mind becomes more and more ridiculous. Our patrons are shocked to hear that Grant is considered a vicious animal in a neighboring town simply because of his breed. We get a lot of patrons from that town, too. Perhaps we can do it!

Slowly but surely, we are.

There's a new reality show on Animal Planet called Pit Bulls and Parolees...the VillaLobos Rescue....this last episode was about a local FOX News TV reporter that found a stray Pit (looked like an AmBully) But she said after spending time with him...her views have changed a complete 180 about the breed. He was a complete cuddle bug.

Thats all it is.....People just need to stop and start thinking for themselves

No. In fact, the newspaper that this article was in is published in a town with a particularly restrictive breed ordinance. If he were to step foot in Spirit Lake, he would need to be muzzled and I would have to carry something like a $500,000 liability insurance policy, even to just be in town. We have no animal control around here, and everything is handled by each town's local PD. I wouldn't even want to take the chance, as him just being shot would be a pretty high probability.
