  • Well im an ectomorph and i been working out for about a month now, i want to put on muscle, but i like to play basketball with my friends, but i play about less than 10 minutes and i get winded , can i still do cardio to build my stamina???

    That statement of yours is horseshit. Here's how your body works: When you eat, the body uses the food for energy, life, and metabolism. When you are deprived of food, the body uses the fat reserves you have (adipose tissue). If you are deprived from food for too long, it starts using protein (your muscles) just to keep you alive. When you lose 50% of your muscles, game over dude. You die.

  • @conzo93cfc Yeah, but compared to the fat gains, that muscle loss is negligible. 20 minutes of cardio WILL NOT burn muscle, except if you do cardio on an empty stomach, or during days of caloric deficit. Don't be an idiot and run 3000 miles for your cardio. The human body is designed to burn FAT reserves first before muscle to maintain metabolism and sustain life. You will LOSE FUCKING FAT when you do cardio appropriately.

    DO WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANNA DO! :)
