This is my 6th video using Adobe Premiere and contribution to the NES Project 2003. I had picked this track pretty early on in the project because Mike Tyson's Punch Out was one of my favorite NES games of all time (I'm a big sports gaming nut :p ). After listening to the track, I knew I had to find something fitting of the song and boxing concept. So, after a little searching, I found the Hajime No Ippo boxset and found the similarities between Ippo and Little Mac frightening. I knew this was the anime for me and set out to work. It took longer than I thought since real life stuff happened around the same time I was editing. After a few months and several nights trying to beat the game again, I managed to pull it off pretty well. The section I get the biggest kick out of is the corner scene in between rounds. OMFG! "Join the Nintendo fan club today..."! How the fuck was that supposed to help him?!?! :p Anyway, hope you enjoy this section of a terrific group project.
