instead Saatham one may use Soarru(சோறு) also
மேலும் கூடுதலா,
சாம்பார் சாதம் என்பதற்கு பதிலாக பருப்பு சோறு என்பதே சரியான பயன்பாடு

@RaspberrySwirl1982 ha! does ur husband watch tamil films?

Thank you so much for these wonderful video tutorials! I am an American woman married to a man from Tamil Nadu who is not too keen on teaching me. My husband speaks some Tamil to his parents back in India, but he never uses Tamil at home. This is an extremely helpful resource for me, since I would like to learn that language to communicate with my in-laws and others when I visit my husband's homeland. Keep up the good work!!!

A few other ways to say things (they're more common, depending where you live):
Enakku pasikkyirathu - I'm hungry
Enakku kulikkyanam - I have, want, or need to bathe. (The Y keeps the rhythm Tamil requires)
Avaal - They
Namal- We
Yours (F) - Ungalodu, Yours (I) - Unnodu
Technically, all the informal 'you' tenses are 'ai,' not 'e.' Ex: Enna saaptai? (What did you eat?)
I hope I cleared some things up (?). Ask questions if any.
@desidame4eva isn't im hungry yeneke pasikide?
