Modded Screaming Bird VS LPB1 Clone. Changed the Capacitors in the screaming bird from something like .002 uf to .01 uf. gives the pedal a more mellow sound. contrasted against an LPB-1 Clone I made.

  • Which caps did you replac btw??? I've just picked on up and it's usless stock :-) tnx.

  • @JohnDaleLive there is only one cap inside. can't remember where it is - but i think it was green. it is the only thing that is there really. if you open it up and send me a pic i'll tell you which one it is. i don't have mine any more.

  • Thanks for the video, I was wondering about modding this pedal as I'd heard it was a bit harsh on the treble. Since it's ludicrously cheap for a true-bypass treble boost, this seems a great way to get that sound.

  • @u8s58 the circuit is the same on all the boosters from EH - bird, LPB1 and moles foot or whatever it is called, the only difference is the caps.

  • what happens if you engage both pedals?

  • can you explain me witch capacitor you have change in this mod?

  • @dvschsa Isn't that the most important difference?

  • The rangemaster schematic has a 0.005uf on the input and a 0.01uf on the output - possibly worth a try.
