The BYU Crescent Jazz Festival in February, 2007 featured some very prominent artists who had either played with Maynard at some point in their careers, or were influenced by those who did.

@imthebrother I was at the music shop last evening and Yamaha has a new "custom" trumpet called the Eric Miyashiro. I didn't blow it but it is probably a nice horn a few hundred more than the Bobby Shew, which I have.
