I had owned hundreds of Gibson Custom Shop R-9 in the past - but this is the one I will keep! It has exactly the same feel, the same sound and even the same neck (rare enough) like my original 1959 LP Std. wich I had!
Since I was 16 I have always dreamed about the original Peter Green '59. I think this replica comes really close, it is lightweight and has a fantastic neck (not too big)
I have switched back the neck pickup (out-of-phase sound is still the same), added 2 Reflector knobs. This Guitar is 3,8 kg only!. The only thing I don't like too much are the frets. I really have to struggle a bit with the flat plekked frets and 11-49 Srings that I use on all my electric guitars, but the more I play this guitar the more I get used to it. • Greg has me completely convinced that the gear makes no difference, that it is ALL in the talent.

  • Yawn

  • @GregsGuitars Do you own every one of them personaly or do you buy them to sell them and make a profit?

  • @GregsGuitars O.O

  • @eyesonmedia

Thats pretty easy to say when he's playing a $12,000 guitar and an original 63 Fender amp :D I still agree with you to a point, I bet greg could make a Fender Squire sound good.

  • @GregsGuitars whoa

  • wow thats a beautiful les paul, but to be honest i just go to your videos to look at the guitar they all sound the same at this point

  • @eyesonmedia I agree to some extent, but i do believe some of it lies in what guitar, and if you have any pedals. and that Okko Diablo pedal is just a tad too obtrusive IMO, if you know what i mean ;)

  • cmon, just tell me where do you live... i cant steal them all you know.. !! ;-)

  • ur lying! or are u?
