Is this satire? This isn't 'hilarious' unless he's an undercover liberal. It's logic that has led me to atheism - it is the only view that leaves me with no cognitive dissonance. Religion is what is irrational - it is morality based on bronze-age myths. Empathy is a survival trait passed down from those who cared about others enough to increase their chance of passing down that trait.

Being a liberal atheist is like being the only sober person in a car, but nobody will let you drive.

Conservatives have more wisdom than liberals. Social, interpersonal, and especially political, conservatives beat out liberals because wisdom is higher among us. Book knowledge is fine but in the end it doesn't get you as far as what you gain from experience--wisdom. By wisdom you learn about things concretely. The problem with liberals is their myriad of theories; they love theories. Knowledge alone doesn't give you judgment, discernment, consideration, and understanding--wisdom does.

@WildBillforAmerica You are mistaken in your understanding of what an atheist is. If you ask an atheist, "does god exist?" you probably think the answer they'd give would be no. However, the vast majority actually give the answer "I don't know." "Isn't that agnosticism," you may ask? Yes, but agnosticism and atheism aren't mutually exclusive. Nearly all atheists are also agnostics.

And we think your evidence for god is hardly satisfactory.

@WildBillforAmerica >Implying that all atheists are gnostic atheists. Atheism isn't knowing that "God" doesn't exist, it's a lack of belief that He does. The only rational position to hold is that of the Agnostic atheist. Any other position is reliant upon either knowing for a fact that God either does or does not exist (which is not feasibly possible) or faith.
