Our next door neighbour gave us a huge bowl of walnuts from her (apparently very productive) walnut tree. And did we have any idea what to do with them all? Not really. At least, not until I had the bright idea of smashing them with a hammer in time to music. I chose a suitably non-violent piece (The Blue Danube Waltz by Johann Strauss Jr.) with which to commit violence against the walnuts. I started with 200 walnuts on the table, and by the time the music finished, I'd destroyed 101 of them B]

  • Well.... that was rather thinking outside the box... Eheh! Rather interesting... you've made quite a mess...

  • yeah, it was messy... my sister claimed she was still finding bits of walnut on the other side of the room a week later... 8p

    Great fun!

  • Interesting idea; did the table survive unscathed? Definately original. :)
