Daren Pfeifer, from Abilene Texas, earned his Bachelor degree in Music Education from Baylor University. Daren played with the Waco Symphony Orchestra as Principal Percussionist and was a member of the 1998 Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps.
In 2002, Daren completed a Masters of Fine Arts degree at the California Institute of the Arts, where he studied with John Bergamo and Joe LaBarbera. Daren joined the Novo Philharmonic in 2004 as Principal Timpanist. He is the author of Advanced Pedal Applications: a Comprehensive Study of Pedal Bridging and Multiple-Pedal Setups, which was featured in Modern Drummer Magazine. Daren is also a faculty member at Musician's Institute in Hollywood.
In 2008, Daren joined the alternative rock group, Earshot, as a touring and recording member. Daren is the founder of Knock Box Studio, which specializes in remote recording that allows musicians from all over the world to get custom live drum and percussion tracks.
Throughout 2010, Daren has recorded live drums and percussion for radio and TV. He is currently a touring and recording drummer for Hollywood Undead.
