None of my music has lyrics, but this one has a story. It's a variation on the classic "boy meets faerie" love story, where the young handsome farmer (picture Jethro Bodine... with red hair) is walking home from working in his fields all day. He passes through a dark wood, where he has a supernatural encounter with faeries. He joins in their odd dance and falls in love with a faerie princess. (Picture Gweneth Paltrow, with big, pointed ears.) She falls in love with him too, but they immediately have an argument over where they should live. He pleads with her, "Come with me!" and she pleads, "Stay with me!". They reach an impasse and the farmer leaves without his bride... or does he?

  • hey this is awesome! cool story too!

    and you play really good

hey i dont wanna soud stupid or anything but it looks like you have a capo far down on the neck... the guitar shouldnt be able to make a sound right?

  • Hey, thanks!

That's no ordinary capo! It's a Harmonic Capo. It only affects the open strings, transposing them up to the octave harmonic. Check out my tutorial video for all the details.

  • in my opinion the farmer isn't able to live without the faerie.

    He goes back to her...

  • It's a tough choice for both of them. If he stays in the world of the faeries and eats their food and drinks their ale, he won't be able to go home. He'll end up like Rip van Winkle, all of his friends and family gone. But if she goes with him, she loses imortality, which is a BIG sacrifice to make for anybody. They do end up together at the end, but the question of which one of them made the sacrifice isn't answered.
