You should check out your settings - never been bothered by their updates. Also, you could simply play it with a sourceport.

Please ask me why we should have adds on the sides that are VIDEOS that PLAY AUTOMATICALLY and you can't PAUSE and they keep LOADING and PLAYING and INTERRUPTING THE VIDEO?!

Considering the origins of evilution (it originally being a WAD project), I think perhaps you should consider playing a megawad or two, Kiko. DOOM is awesome, after all.
