St. Albans isnt a shit hole; its one of the wealthiest and nicest places in England. But there's a trend amongst particular groups of moneyed people to downplay their parents wealth and to adopt the perceived and fake persona of a tough working class geezer in order to look tough. Hence the swagger, the over use of expletives thats spoken in a loud and exaggerated cockney/estuary English accent. Its all posturing because when arrested they almost always revert and cry for their mommy.
