  • hope it doesn't get any worse

  • @TruNutnumba1 It weakened but another rotating super cell is forming behind it.

  • Rach, would I be wrong assuming this is an uncommon occurance?

  • @oldwarhorse1865 They had an f 4 about 40 years ago but about 10 years ago was the last one. Pretty unusual but not impossible. It's weakening but still under a warning til 8:45 another funnel just formed again in Springfield area. crazy...

  • crazy summer

  • i remember that i was very lucky i live in cape cod so i was very lucky

  • I was staying after school this day for practice for a band concert. We have a bomb shelter under our track. It was really scary running to the shelter. I saw the clouds rotating and i had my clarinet in my hand. i almost got struck by lightening. Im from the blackstone-millville school system and they went that far. but we didnt get hit by the tornado. really close though

  • We in pittsfeild had a pretty bad storm. Big trees fell wich isn't common here. And about 30 min later I see this on twc.(the weather channel)

  • @oldwarhorse1865 This is semi rare, i live in this area, we are in a valley, so usually the mountains to our west tend to disappaiate this sort of weather, but on this day there was no way to stop these storms.

  • i was tracking the tornado at my house in braintree and getting ready to film but no tornado but it was a nice lighting show watching the Stanley cup playoffs tv was going in and out

  • wen it hit we had no damn warning i came like 5 min before it hit, if i was still on the damn hill i would have died, o let me say tht again i stayed after school and my teacher said we had a tornado warning but ashored me we will not most likely not have one, but she was wrong, if it wasnt for the rain i would have been the 5th death from tht tornado, it was crazy though the next morning i went out to see the damage and houses wer fucking destroyed and i saw lots of news trucks

  • @clubpenguinrules03 Not really.

  • Update. This same tornado came through my town, Wilbraham. NWS declared it a "strong" EF3. They also confirmed Wilbraham was also hit by an EF1 from this same storm. This tornado stayed on the ground for 39 MILES - from Westfield to Sturbridge, MA.

4 killed / over 200 injured. Hundreds of homes badly damaged and thousands of senior trees, demolished. The downed trees are now a major fire hazard as they dry out in the summer heat - like a 39-mile long "wick". Serious stuff, folks.

  • JUNE 1ST!!??!!? IT IS JULY RIGHT NOW! :O Very Close
