  • how do you make weapons such as clubs, spears and swords?

  • @Gobspout Great question. I should do a tutorial. I would use a wire as the armature, maybe paper clip would work. Then sculpt some clay onto it.

  • im a stop motion animator and i didnt know if i should of made a tree or human. i then had an idea that i should make a tree that has roots for legs that will travel through the woods. i will have fun making that. thanks

  • @CEVTV27 nice project idea!

  • Are these paper clips made from metal or plastic?

Since I tried to make an armature with metal paper clips

yet I couldn't connect the two pieces with pliers, they'd just twist

    and fall.

    Thx

  • @remotful Paper clips can be tricky. I use wire mostly. Electrical wire. You take off the plastic coating.

  • @Xythe43 I am not sure. I think it is about right. The only way to know is to give it a try!

  • @epicfantasy I'm using telephone wire (on the poles) is that to thick? (they twist up 50 pieces on the wires)

  • @MrDreamblade youtube Dnd sculpts.wmv from a guy name CrafterSam i think he could help you out his stuff is the shit.

  • @MrDreamblade I ahve never done this kind of thing. It usually helps to print out a picture or a few pictures then make actual measurements on the paper. Helps to get a good sense of the scale and proportions. You can even hold the miniature up near the paper as you sculpt.
