Yes, the old testament was written for old times. The new testament is for the generation after christ's death with a completely new set of rules more sensitive than the past. Ex: The adultery rule.

Have you done research on the Vatican Treasury? Nope, because then you would know that they dont take taxes and all of their money comes from tourists(not rich) . Yes they have gold cups and stuff, but those things are priceless and bring memories of the other popes from the past. They can't just sell the treasures. BTW; They also donate to tons of charities, therefore barely leaving them any money for themselves. I'm not catholic and i'm not defending them, but thats the truth.
