I will do so. I expect to post one or two a week from now on. I agree, music is one of the very first manifestations of the new emerging global culture. It was about 10 years ago that the category "World Music" became shelf space in stores that sold CDs

One of the places that I've really noticed the emergence of global culture is in music. As English has become the de facto language of the world, more international artists are able to record music with global appeal. Just look at all new electro and pop artists coming out of Sweden, France, and Australia right now.

Needless to say, the links between this kind of cultural shift, and global politics and economic issues are endlessly fascinating. Please post more videos!
