One of my favorite cartoons as a kid. I actually remember this episode and it was meant that Eric liked him as a little brother. Looking back at it now, it did have gay overtones. The way Eric and the kid were awkward around each other and insulted each other reminds me of when as a kid, you have a crush on a girl, so you pretend to hate her.

Man, this cartoon was so fucking nice. Love it.
I was a kid in the 80's and I wouldn't miss one episode at the time. It was a huge success here in Brazil.
Sure Erick always had that kinda 'gay' behavior, beside grumbling too much. But tell me, how would the whole story sound without him?
Unreplaceble!!
Wish the owner company could release a film based on this cartoon, or maybe an end to it.
