@ArEs7210 No problem, we run Vermeer. Have had a lot of bad dealings with Ditch Witch mostly with their sales rep and price of parts. Eclipse locators are the way to go though, nothing better out there.

i Drill with a 2720 mach 1 and could out drill this guy anyday! if he can stear that easy he could drill faster! Like jwcheeta said its all in the operator!

can somebody tell me which is best for drilling a sewer main in hard rock?

is it a vermeer or a ditch witch? maybe someone who has worked with them both.

@jwcheeta We started with DW a long time ago, but today we are running Vermeer. The cost of parts is crazy with DW. I have run both and Vermeer gets it done way faster for us. I have come behind where bigger DWs just gave up after days of drilling and had no problem getting the job done. It comes down to the operator, communication, and your fluid.

Vermeer is garbage.when you buy a vermeer you better plan on having a parts catalog with you at all times.if your boaring for other company's a ditch witch will get it done,and get it done fast.

@ArEs7210 I know how Ditch Witch treated us and we live and work within 150 miles from the world headquaters. I can't imagine how they treat people half a world away. What do they charge per foot over there? Just a little curious...
