You can also check the CG on a flybarless helicopter by picking it up by the rotor and holding it so that the main shaft and the tail boom are horisontal. After that just let the heli settle. If it is tail-heavy the tail will rotate toward the ground. for a more precise result you should pull out the main gear.
Hi there, an excellent series of videos, and very very helpful for us novices. Just one question? where do you buy those fantastic Training sets from? I cannot get a decent set anywhere in Europe, or even China where I buy most of my heli stuff from. They all seem to be flimsy plastic and very thin carbon rods. Definitely not up to the job for my Trex 500. Thanks in advance for any and all help on this problem. Regards, Ray ( Spain)
hi willie here thaks for making these videos i am in the hovering stage right now but i am going to take my time and learn the right way how to take care of the the helicopter and set it up.keep up the good work we need more people like you to help the beginer to become a good sound helicopter pilot.
Thank you for taking the time to make these videos, I'm still several weeks away from my first CP heli and plan on getting the blade 400. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about CP helis before getting one. So far in your first 2 videos I have learned more "usefull" info than I have with watching a weeks worth of every other teaching video I was able to find. Looking forward to watching the rest of your videos and visiting your website.

The main blades need to be balanced before bolting them to the heli. What episode covers this topic?

you really recommend to start with a 450 CP ? All over internet they advise to start with a coax or FP.
