@FOTARAStheGREEK thas not the theme here. I would appreciate it, if it was, but don´t the anime creators look what character is the most popular one? Because look, since L died, the anime popularity is going under. I think, you understand the reason.

@FOTARAStheGREEK I know. Still, even though it really was very well done, it was very sad. That´s why Death Note is not my favorite anime and it´s not on the list of the best, but only of the well-known. It´s too gloomy, because almost everyone dies. Yes, I agree with Near, avenging L and besides Near is one of my favorite characters along with L and if to be honest, Mikami, and I really feel relief, that he continues working for L, even after the last is gone.

@RiaUsuma235 actually L's death was what made the series so incredible and one of the best ever made...that way the series became very emotional and lots of people wanted to cry when he died...and it was good that Near appeared to continuou L's work so that the people who are watching feel relief at the end when he takes revenge for L...
