1 point sling vs. 2 point sling

A brief demonstration showing some differences between the two popular sling types. I prefer the 2 point sling for my general recreational activities. However, should there be a need for training or actual gunfighting, I'm sure the 1pt sling would be more desirable.

is there a specific brand name with the 2 point bungee cord or do all brands make them?

@379peterbilt530 I can't think of specific brands that make them. You'll primarily find single point slings with a bungee or convertible 2pt/1pt slings with one or both ends with the bungee in them. You'll know when you browse slings because it's got the accordion appearance. If a sling is just a 2pt or 3pt, you probably won't see it.

@TheDesertRaiders I'd try the MS3. It's got a wider strap and the clips are less bulky. I had the MS2 for a year or so and didn't like it. The shiney satin-like material is a bad idea and the main clip is too bulky and heavy and bangs too much on the gun. Otherwise, the functional design of both are outstanding and definitely the best sling idea out there.

@flamengishta in a fire fight or even in training i dont think you should ever take your hands of your primary rifle..i run the double like you do..single is great to if you got the right sling

I like the magpul ms3 it's switches between both 1 point and 2 point with a quick adjust strap. Really cool
