You know what's strange. The lizard that is on the main character's hat.. it even made the box art! But it's not in the game except for right there at the beginning.

The pet in 8 actually had a use though I rarely used him due to the weak attack of some cheeses and the pointless grinding to get the powerful cheeses to give him enough stock to be useful).

Anyway back to the lizard... it's pointless which was a little disappointing.

This is perhaps my favorite Dragon Warrior/Quest.

I loved Dragon Warrior 7 and most consider it a 'black sheep' and don't like it.
