start with pentatonic and all modes, then major and all modes, then harmonic minor and all modes, then melodic minor and all modes, and then whatever other scales you want. get the guitar grimoire, it's got plenty of scales. i need to learn melodic minor, i skipped it haha but it's one of the basic scales or so i'm told
