This is the video for Saint Etienne's second single, Kiss and Make Up, featuring Donna Savage of Dead Famous People on lead vocals. Released in 1990, it was then rerecorded for Foxbase Alpha, with Sarah Cracknell taking over the vocals. The song was originally recorded by the Field Mice.

  • I'm here because of the drums

  • Can't decide whats the better version.. I like both but primarly Ive prefered this version. Maybe because its less produced and more lighter and softer..I prefer her voice more than Sarahs..

  • prefer field mice version

  • this isnt the album version

  • the fuck is olly murs

  • @109jacko do you always do as your told?

  • Justin Bieber looks like her

  • Olly Murs has used this track?! Flay him ! Tear out his voice box, hang him, burn him at the stake, then scatter his desecrated ashes over a dodgy public toilet urinal! (at Kings Cross) .... Or something ...

  • First things first I'm NOT an Olly Murs fan but has he used this track as the basis of his current single? Sounds very similar to me.

    I am a Saint Etienne fan :)

  • @delajt I'm pretty sure this version is on the "You Need A Mess Of Help To Stand Alone" B-Sides compilation album. They recorded this version with a guest singer (Moira Lambert maybe?) before Sarah joined the group. They re-recorded it with Sarah and that version was on the U.S. version of Foxbase Alpha.

  • @krazejim1 I bought this originally back in the day on CD-Single as it wasn't on Foxbase Alpha...

  • Anybody know where I can find the version of this song. I bought the Fox Base Alpha CD by Saint Etienne that has kiss and make up on it, but not this version. Anybody know the name of the CD this song can be found on?
