A tribute to the great Ocean Liners of the last 100 Years. We wish they were all still here, but you cannot save them all. I hope, that with time and effort, the Mighty SS United States, the Flagship of America, can be saved just like the Rotterdam, and Queen Mary.

May the wind always be in her favor.

  • where's titanic

  • @rcthebabe

This is a tribute to all the Great Ocean Liners that could have been preserved after long productive careers, the Titanic is 12,000 feet below the surface of the Ocean, and there for by my rules, cannot qualify.

Hence why I included Olympic instead, because it was the only one of the 3 sisters to have a career, in economical sense, the Titanic and Britannic were complete failures as Liners, as both never completed a single revenue generating trip.

  • Right there! That is why I hate united states, being faster than Queen Mary. Queen Mary is a Queen, damn it! think what you want about us. I don't care if she gets scrap. my loyalty is to Queen Mary.

  • @SuperTitanicfreak

Ok, so you hate it because it was better then the Queen Mary in one area......speed. Do you have any idea how narrow minded that is?

  • Why is everyone like the united states? She is a useless piece of crap. united states pales compare to Queen Mary. united states is no where near as pretty as the Queen Mary. take that.

  • @SuperTitanicfreak

Many many reasons. She is faster then the Queen Mary, She is more powerful then the Queen Mary, and she is safer then the Queen Mary. And like the Queen Mary, she is still around, although not as well off as the former Cunard Queen.

The United States is also the single largest AMERICAN liner ever built, so she has some aspects of National Pride here in the US. Where as the Queen Mary, being a British ship, was well received in Britain. Its really a nationality thing.

  • If somebody tries to save UGLY U, & I'm talking about united states, I'm going to see to it that she burns. Burned so bad, that she would be scrap. Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth of 1940, Queen Elizabeth 2, Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, & Queen Elizabeth of 2010 are far prettier than united states. GOD, I hope united states burns. The fact that I'm American is beside the point. Burn, united states, BURN!

  • My father worked for the Italian Line in the 20's & 30's . As far as he was concered.and according to the "Steamship Historical Society "plus the Author John Maxim Graham ther never was or will be an Ocean liner as Magnificent as the SS NORMANDIE. When she sunk in New York Harbor men and woman who worked on other ships were bought to tears.

  • @will107 i know that i didn't see titanic in the pics

  • @SuperTitanicfreak well ALL the american liners look more modern and welcoming that any british liner and atleast the united states was made IN america cunard does not even make real ocean liners anymore i mean the rms queen mary 2 was made IN FRANCE
