CA Delta FLW 2010 - Davis & Knight.wmv

FLW Series West, National Guard Western at the California Delta 2010. Bass Fishing never seen before. Donald Davis and Leon Knight with co-angler Don Hilton, Day 2, traveling through the Beaver Dams to get to their fishing area. DELTA DON (Don Davis) discovered this area 5 years ago, but the water was never high enough for a bass boat to get in, well this year 2010 had lots of water and Davis teamed with Knight developing a cable system with block and tackle and a winch mounted in a Ranger Boat to get the boats over the beaver dams in order to fish for the monsters. Absolutely worth every moment, life changing for me. Don and Leon placed 1st and 2nd at the FLW tournement. The winnings were quite impressive for both of them. I wouldn't trade this day, I'll never forget the experience.

I think these guys used a pulley system to get to their spot from what I remember reading from a FLW Outdoors Magazine.

Wow, I know no rules were broken but....... Is this a four man tournament? I mean a 2 boats work together tournament? If you can't get there with help, I think it is shady.
