  • Sound quality is not too great on this and what's with the numbers at the bottom?

Still, it's a rare piece of history, I was 6 years old at the time.

  • What do you expect for an old episode. the numbers is a time code. This episode was presume wipped for decades, until the BBC found it mis-filed under the osmonds show.

  • This edition was never missing from the BBC was just filed incorectly as the osmond special. Steve Harley was used on TOTP2 many years ago which proved this.

  • This edition isnt missing from the BBC

  • Are you sure? It isn't listed as held on the TOTP2 archive page.

  • Yes that site is unaccurate it hasnt been updated for many years, as i say this episode was mis-filed. There are other episodes like this that arent in the list but the BBC have.

  • The Osmonds actually made better presenters than some of the regular TOTP stable of DJs.

  • @UKSazzy67 6 years old? You pensioner! I was 12 days old on the day this episode was first screened......

  • Wonderful memories xxxx

  • great song

  • I wonder what happened to Noel's fly Algernon. Who knows if he still remembers it.

  • Hey....that was on my 18th birthday!!!

  • @MrGeorgianGustil only cos its THIS song. Boyzone or Westlife could never write or belt out One Way Ticket or Traffic In Your Mind, or reach the sublime vocal heights of Let Me In. Their manager was about as short-sighted as Louie Walsh and never let them expand beyond the money making machine they (and Donny) became.

  • DID'NT PRINCE CHARLES GET THAT ASS FROM SHELIA THE LEAD I HEARD SOME SAY

  • @Jeremy1960 ooh yes Jeremy it was great stuff. I was 14 in November 1974 when David Essex was no.1

  • osmunds where the boyzone or west life of there day :)
