She is SO courageous. I hope this dies down so she can catch a break. You can tell she's telling the truth when she speaks and when you read the book. I feel scared for her knowing her addiction past. I believe her when she says addicts are some of the smartest people around, I sure couldn't handle that life. Cigs and coffee does it for me!

Everyone in their family doesn't deny that John shot up Macenzie for the 1st time & that he did an enormous amount of drugs with her. He also got Bijou an apartment when she was like 14 years old & gave her a credit card to live off of, after he lost custody of her along with her mother for being unfit parents. Michelle Phillips said he was an unfit father etc. But they don't believe he was capable of this? He shot up his own daughter but is above incest with her?

Why are many people defending John Philips? Why? Because he was such a "family man" back in the 80s? Do we not want to let go of that "image?"

Her father was a doped-up sex maniac. He basically groomed Macenzie for this since she was a child by exposing her, first to his drug culture, and then his sex culture. Parents owe their children a decent life without abuse. John Phillips put himself and his perverse sexual needs above the proper care and raising that he owed his daughter. He created a sex slave out of his own child----sick, sick man!

Uhh, Maggie Rodriguez comes off as a judgemental dipshit. It's terrible to so bluntly question a sexual abuse survivor's story on television like this. "Why a skeptic would question something from the mouth of a longtime drug addict." "You're trying to sell a book, playing a victim." What a snotty bitch with a bad haircut.
