@polarbear2502 Disagree, plenty left on those bones, i reckon i could fillet them again. The faster you go the more you leave, doubt you could see through it without a very bright light.

It's about 50/50 as to how many people leave the skin on when they fillet them. You don't have to worry about that side freezer burning if ya leave the skin on and the skin pulls right off on the bbq. I prefer to take the skin off of mine however...so ya get a nice flavorful crust on the halibut when you cook it. Matter of preference I guess. I here those fluke are pretty darned good to eat!
