It seems like the used OP2 is better, this candidate uses a lot of phases used in OP1, which makes it less impressive.

I've watched this serie on time, of course also this incomplete op.
They might not have enough time to make a complete version.
At the first time, I thought "What is this!? Although the song is so cool..."
But now I think that especially the part after 1:06 is more dramatic rather than the complete one.

@strikerk - Probably because the second opening usually spoils important plot points that haven't yet happened.

Yeah it's sad. If the USA did similar stuff, we would have had 14 Intros for TMNT in the US. Quite a few dozen for the Simpsons.
In Japan, Naruto already is on its 16th intro. Due to its extremely long run.
They usually all have their own songs, sequences, etc.

This is the second opening.
In Japan, most anime series have TWO openings. One for the first half of the season, and another for the second half.
In the US, we only get one. Don't ask me why.

Yeah but when you air a show in the proper order, spoilers aren't too big a deal when the show is being followed. Then again American shows patronize their viewers by assuming they're dumb as rocks (I won't say they are, but damn if I'm not close.)
