This guy was the paramount genius of rock n roll before the Beatles. I wish his career had gone better, he could have made a huge contribution. At least he gave the world "Telstar." Sheer genius, way ahead of its time. And The Bublight is brilliant. For what it's worth, it is the true beginning of Progressive Rock.

Used to do discos early 1980s . This would have been a monster hit if rereleased at that time. Joe Meek was so ahead of the game. RIP

This cover does have an 80's new-wave/techopop feel to it. Apparently Joe Meek was ahead of his time musically producing this song as well as " Telstar "!

i know meek was a genius - but this is mental to say it was made in the 60s
it sounds years and years ahead!!!!!!! sounds like something fromm the late 80s/early mid nineties!!!!!
