this is what you do you hold the home and power button untill it resets and than keep holding the home button and plug it the sync cable to the phone hold that home button untill the phone show the icon for you to sync to itunes than let go of the home button and you can do a restore on the phone

if you put alot of apps on your phone it will happen again i have gone thru 5 phones before the person at apple corp told me about this little trick and she also said if an app freezes and you can get back to the home screen just hold down the home button untill the app goes away
