Amazing. First time I've heard of such a brewing technique. Sounds like great idea for hot, steamy days (not like we have many of them in Norway, hahaha!). Do you think I can combine it with zarusoba or hiyashisomen dinner?
And beautiful bizen-yaki pot! Thanks for video!

Its allways way to bitter, eventhough I use very good gyokuro. I have no idea why it doesn't work... :-(

I love gyokuro! It's like a cup of perfection if bought from the right company.

@pausethe and that really works, the flavour comes out in that short period of time?? and what do you do when the ice is melted?? use brew it regularly or is it only good for the ice??

Where can I buy such a teapot and teacups online? I'd really like to have those to enhance the experience :)

Not bitter at all. Very modest but rich.

Beautiful video. Thank you for sharing. I will try this method of brewing and I am eager to try gyokuro. I have only had sencha, matcha and genmaicha. Many thanks.

It is difficult to get real Gyokuro in US, but I suppose Lupicia USA has good Hoshino/ Yame Gyokuro.
