Austrialian artist Lynette Wallworth was a mentor at the Producer Institute this year at BAVC in San Francisco. Her installations utilize technology to amplify and celebrate the human spirit. During the course of these intense 10 days, she engaged with filmmakers and technologists in fruitful collaboration and also entered Second Life for the first time. Certainly Draxtor Despres had to sit down with Lynette's avatar alter-ego Rasaa Mistwalker and chat a little about physical versus simulated reality.
A truly wonderful interview--the cuts between RL and SL are so well done. Thanks!

Yes - really interesting. We connect with others at the levl of our subconscious far more strongly that at the conscious level. Our subconsciouses are very literal and they read these environments as true and connected as RL. From what we know about quantum physics - maybe they know better than our minds. It is energy that connects us in the end

I loved the video touches. i put my own hand to the screen at one point and it was a powerful feeling even this far removed. You bring us such incredible people with amazing stories of how they are empowering us all to view things differently and to step out of our sometimes limited perspectives. Thank you both so much.

Hi Raza and Draxtor, I loved it! What is so special about Lynette's superb art creations is that she creates a Virtual world to infuse our 'blood and flesh' being with a touch of the soul.
