I'm looking to get an Arai RX-Q online: I took a look at their sizing chart and need some advice.. I measure 22 1/4 inches or 56 1/2 CM. Arai sizing = "SM 21 5/8 - 22" "MD 22 1/2 - 22 7/8"

Will the medium be a loose fit? What size should I get? Thanks. Mike

@MLclubhouse Hey ML, when you're in-between sizes like this, it really boils down to your head shape. If you're an intermediate oval, I would recommend the SM; if you're a long oval or round, I'd recommend the MD. This should get it done for you. If you think you've gotten the wrong size though, remember, as long as the helmet isn't ridden in, we'll ship a size exchange for free. But again, I'd go with the SM if you're intermediate oval and the MD if you're long oval or round. Hope this helps!

@DJJuicebox117 Hey DJ, that was the Icon Alliance SSR Speed Cretin Helmet. The Speed Cretin is now discontinued (as is the Alliance SSR line), the Icon Alliance Krazy Klown Helmet came after it, but now that has gone away. No current helmets from Icon feature the horns.

What do you do if you're in-between sizes? I measure 23 inches and 58.5cm.

The Scorpion chart says:

MD 22 7/16 - 22 13/16 57-58

LG 23 1/8 - 23 5/8 59-60

I figured it's better to be safe than sorry and went ahead and ordered a Medium EXO-700. After much searching, I found an old invoice from 3 years ago where I had purchased a Large EXO-400. Unfortunately, I cannot recall whether or not the helmet seemed loose. I DO recall it feeling a little tight (proper fit) around the cheeks.
