I love the Pumpkins, and I love Billy Zane. But I just don't care for his rendition of this song. Not even as if Billy butchered this - just hard to not hear Stevie Nicks' voice and be disappointed. Sorry Billy.

There are a lot of negative things you could say about Billy. But he is easily among the most talented and prolific of his contemporaries. He has never played it safe and has lasted more than 20 years in a mainstream market saturated with abject bullshit. The pop machine kills most great talents, either literally or figuratively, in 3 to 5 years. Yet Billy is still waving the flag for alternative culture in 2012. No one can take that from him. Or us.
