So I guess what they're telling us is that we cannot relax, trust or let our guard down for one second.

NotaFerryFan, you are doing just that already.
You make videos about what our REAL elected leaders are doing for our City. They are destroying it. TBB2incher must be a developer. Who else would support what our city staff and Counsel is doing. 2incher gains by the decisions they make that are destroying our way of life in this city.

Bertec bought a useless piece of land that that knew would piss off all surrounding residents adding a MRF but could have cared less. They expected people to lay down and take it with a little frown that would soon go away, or fight. Either way they would make out like bandits. But Brtc Knows we have new taxes for Open Space. Hmmm, corporate real estate investment 101. They expected the blowback they got. Some pockets will suffer (city) while others will overflow. Watch out for these people.

The MRF should go next to the dump on 126, the area is receiving extra incentives for having a dump; the Sierra Hwy site could be used for a minor league baseball field.

Great Job on the video. Hopefully we can get our elected City officials to do the right thing. I am very disappointed in Lauren Weste...I voted for her, and I would have expected her to be on Canyon Country's side. She was so involved in the Save Open Space that passed...Guess that is all we are getting out of her.

Thank you for standing up and being a voice for this community. Brilliant work.

Well done video. I wonder if anyone's considered the old (and vacant) oil refinery site between Sierra Highway and 14, one mile south of San Fernando Rd (near Beal's Cut)? It's already very close to a large existing landfill and there aren't any houses nearby. Prevailing winds wouldn't carry the smell into neighborhoods and freeway access is close. On the downside, it would still load 14 and Sierra hwy with truck traffic, which is already heavy with commuters at rush hour.
Mr. 2 Inches, I would be delighted to make a video about what our REAL elected leaders are doing for our City. Provide details please.
