Todd Bentley - "Told by God" to preach angels not Jesus

Straight from the horse's mouth. Todd Bentley, who is the main guy for the Lakeland Revival in Florida is supposedly told by God not to preach Jesus. Judge for yourselves. Be sure to do research on this angel "Emma" that is talking to Todd and his cohorts. The angel Emma-O is a demon!

To my understanding Todd is referring to the 'Angel' as a representation of the power of God. For Todd also speaks about prophecy, healing, and spiritual beings including demons and angels. Prove me if I am wrong...but no need to freak out..just pray for the man lol

I surfed in here TOTALLY by accident. I could only listen tothis guy once. If you knew who the great Sam Kinison, comedian and former child preacher / scammer was...this guy sounds so much like him it's freaky. I am a Christian, a solid believer in the supernatural (meaning that I think the supernatural is oftentimes demonic..but not always by any means) and believe that Angels are God's "right hand men and women"..so to speak. But if this guy wants to forego Jesus, he's very very wrong. .

I know where Bentley is coming from. there is deep unbelief in the church about miracles and such. But he has got it all wrong and falls into the opposite error, that of superspritual madness.

"seek you first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you" ie preach jesus PROPERLY (by know ing him first, something Todd does not), and that will include miracles , works of power and even, in their low priority place, angles. for angels are LOW priority, compared to Jesus hinself

Bentley does not distinguish between real faith and mere intellectual assent, the latter is not belief in jesus, merely parroting the right words. failing to make a valid distinction and failing to divide the word of God right he falls into heresy.

No, not everyone already believes in Jesus. Always, always, always put Jesus first!

In away, I kind of understand what he's talking about when he says that many in the church don't believe in the supernatural today. Some try to place natural causes on many of the events in the Bible, especially in the Old Testament.(i.e Jericho, Sodom and Gomorrah, etc.)Or, they just don't think that there's any need for the supernatural in today's world. But, this has nothing to do with what Bentley speaks of.
