On November 16, 1943, 21 servicemen were burned alive by the Japanese soldiers at a bamboo house in Angad, Bangued.

A monument dedicated to them used to sit at the western side of the basketball court of Bangued Town Plaza. Unfortunately, the past administration removed it some years ago.

Though we were unable to locate where that monument is now, we hope this video will immortalize the 21 soldiers' supreme sacrifice, bravery and selflessness.

Still looking for a researcher to conduct preliminary interviews for a possible dv documentary of the 21 Martyrs.

  • I'm interested in producing a dvd documentary of 21 martyrs of Bangued.
