Hope - Smashing Pumpkins.

From the hard to find Machina (Promo) CD 'Still becoming apart'. Which was played in stores before the release of Machina -The Machines of God album in early 2000.

  • what is that picture at 1:50?

  • @claydawgg24 It was from the Machina: Machines of God album. In the concept album that is ZERO Aka Billy. Loved the etchings booklet that accompanied this album.

  • wow. 1st time i ever heard this. reminds me of....just like......life. in general. nice. =)

  • @patrickvelascovideos Glad you liked it, i feel alot of their b-sides can be gems. Obscured is another of my favs.

  • Actually this song is from 1986, way before the SP formed.

I totally love this song, is so dark and intriguing.

  • @billycorgan1967 Is this from 1986? This version was from 2000 released as a promotional record/album with early sales of 'Machina' called 'Still becoming apart' given away for free in HMV/Best Buy stores. If it was from back in 1986, before Pumpkins got together was it from 'The Marked' days?

  • it's just perfect... it reminds me of some the verve songs from their first albums, a song that is kinda going away as you listen

  • That's the best SP song I've never heard before!

  • NICE TUNE!

  • im the biggest sp fan, but this is clearly a rip off of "faith" by the cure. i think billy named it hope to pay tribute.

  • This is my favourite instrumental of all time.

  • If I just turn out my lights, and close my eyes, I feel as if I'm floating on a still lake with my body completely outstretched. In a place that cannot be described, because there is no description. A song that is entirely beautiful, and nothing else. There cannot be anything taken or added. It's absolutely perfect. Thank god for this band.

  • @ps3quinn .........
