Here's another Minnesota connect you need to check out: Doomtree. Lyrically they are amazing and their beats are unique. Trust me you won't be disappointed. Much love from Minnesota

I was a bot ticked from your Sage Francis - Li(f)e album review LOL and I was getting on edge before watching this. I was so glad to see you gave a 10/10 for "us" which in my opinion is the best hip hop album of 2009, mainstream and underground. Ali is my second favorite MC right now next to Slug and he cannot fail in making hip hop music. However, I can't give Slug and Ali all the credit. All of Atmosphere since Overcast was produced by Ant and Ali's best shit is all Ant as well. Great review.

You cant hate on brother ali. I mean the music just hits you. I don't care what race you are. Poor and struggling has no color requirements.

Good shit! I agree 100% this fool Ali is slept on as far as I am concerned. People do not realized just how fresh this dude is. A true artist. I wanna see Brother Ali and The Roots do a concert near me. To me they both are similar in the case that they are incredible artists and have MAD love for hip-hop and music in general. Much love to you MisanthropikOne for giving the well deserved props to this album. PEACE!

MisanthropikOne: I couldn't agree more with everything you say. I've been an Ali fan for years and I don't have time for people that hate on him. He's probably the most talented and definitely the most profound lyricist in Hip Hop today. The haters just can't handle when somebody releases something real that might hit them in the gut with the message. Much love.
