Quite a difference between pilots. The Tofino guy "pops" into step, while most guys "ease" into step. Great to see it for real. Shame that the FSX beaver doesn't very well model the "fast braking" trick with full up elevator to use the back of the floats as brakes.

the "super otter" as far as i know is a bigger engine for higher payload and shorter takeoff, here's a qote. "Super Otter performance upgrade conversion for the DHC-3 Otter improves payload, take-off, climb and cruise performance and achieves fuel efficiency. The conversion uses a flat-rated 900 hp Honeywell (Garrett) turbine engine"
